Things to do in the Rogue Valley and Ashland!

We may not have a lot of people but we have a lot of fun things to do and see while you're here, including some of the best parks, restaurants, wineries and attractions in all of Oregon and Northern California.

Natural Attractions

Lithiapark2.jpg

Lithia Park

The pride and joy of Ashland! Located right in downtown, Lithia Park is one of the most gorgeous and historic city parks you'll ever visit. Lithia Park has tons of hiking options, swimming holes and even a beautiful Japanese garden.

MtAshland_edited.jpg

Mt. Ashland

Our home mountain! Just a quick 30 minute drive takes you to the top, with amazing panoramic sights of Mt. Shasta It's also host to an extensive  shuttled MTB and hiking trail network for those so inclined.

Craterlake.jpg

Crater Lake National Park

See the breathtaking Crater Lake! Located only 1.5 hours from Ashland, it's the deepest lake in the US and Oregon's only national park. Absolutely stunning views with easily accessible car access.

Redwoods.jpg

Redwood National Park

It's the famous Redwoods. Icons of the region, they're even more incredible in person. The park is 2.5 hours away from Ashland but absolutely worth the time and energy to go and see

Goldbeach.jpg

Oregon Coast

What the Oregon coast lacks in warmth it makes up for in beauty and natural scenery and is worth the 2 hour drive from Ashland. Be sure to check out our amazing tide pools, great seafood and towering sand dunes.

MtShasta.jpg

Mt. Shasta

At over 14,000 feet, Mt. Shasta is the 2nd tallest volcano in the contiguous US. It's also only an hour away and can be seen from most hikes in the area. It's even more remarkable up close.

Restaurants & Bars

cocorico.jpg

Delicious and intimate dinner spot that offers a unique dining experience and a world-inspired menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. Their covered outdoor dining area is particularly cozy.

Our favorite Ashland breakfast spot! Classic diner food and great coffee in an unassuming little hut. Be sure to get there early since there's usually a bit of a wait and limited space.

Fantastic taphouse and bar right next to Lithia Park, so it's perfect for some post-activity drinks. Try the buffalo cauliflower bites, even if you aren't a vegetarian. They're fantastic

masala.jpeg

Modern and classic Indian cuisine with some cool fusion dishes and gorgeous presentation. One of our first places we ever went to in Ashland, they also have some great cocktails.

Unique and authentic Indonesian restaurant. One of the most acclaimed restaurants in Ashland and for good reason. Perfect for someone looking for a food experience they've probably never had before

Rubysgils.jpg

Two great places that are basically one establishment. Ruby's has a solid breakfast burrito and lunch menu while Gil's has a huge selection of beers and other refreshments. It's also a great post-ride spot.

Wineries

Great wines and the closest winery to our house! You can (almost) see us from their stunning patio with ideal mountain and city views

Makers of an award winning Chardonnay that we both love. Just minutes from town and nestled just below the Ashland watershed

Expansive space on a cute farm in the neighboring city of talent. Frequent music acts and the great Thai food stand around the corner make this a great place for an evening out
